In addition to her fondness for pets and dedication to providing excellent pet care services, Jeanne Hertzog has a special interest in genealogy, family history, keepsakes and personalized items. She can assist you by using modern technology to improve and lengthen the life of your photos, family memorabilia and videotapes – or present them in a new and interesting format that allows for increased appreciation and viewing. Items available through Photo Arts will be crafted just for you and must be special ordered. Photo Arts products make wonderful gifts!

Photos to DVD Slideshow

Select a theme for your slideshow and then select pictures you want to include and coordinating music. We will take it from there and add transitions and Ken Burns effects (panning and zooming) to make your still photos come alive! You will find our prices to be very reasonable. We lightly edit as necessary to adjust the color, or crop, correct pet eye or red eye, etc. At the beginning and end of the slide show, personalization can be provided with someone's name, date, and occasion.

To see a sample of our slideshow work, visit the "More" page using the link at the left. The slide show there is an example of the sorts of features, transitions, and content we can put on your slide show. We will work with you to make sure that you are happy with the final product.

25 - 30 pictures correspond well with a musical selection of 3 – 4 minutes. Multiple musical selections, each with a specific theme, can be placed on the same DVD to make a wonderful DVD album.

Prices: $1.50 per picture if we need to scan them. You will receive two DVDs in jewel cases with a jewel case insert (photo and caption that reflect the content.) Additional copies are $10 each or 3 for $25.

15% discount on the per photo cost if you supply your photos on CD or DVD in the order in which you want them included.

Music at no charge if you provide your selections on a retail version CD

When we supply the music for you, the charge is $2.00 per selection.

Slideshows are normally produced on DVD-R discs. Check your owner’s manual or www.videohelp.com/dvdplayers.php to see if they are compatible with your computer or DVD player. Check with us about other arrangements if needed.

DVDs can be created from photos or Power Point. Power Point works well for business or genealogical presentations where you may want additional names, dates, and written data included.

Alter color photos to sepia or black and white for a special or antique look. Adjust the appearance of images so they appear to be printed on fabric, painted as a water color, or drawn as a charcoal sketch. Add words, lighten or darken the picture as needed, add props, etc. Special edges can be added or a frame can be placed around the photo to enhance it. We can include a slide with your wedding invitation, child's artwork, a special greeting card, or other items special to the presentation.

Saving to a CD – Photos or documents

We can do this for you along with placing your photos in a slideshow or you can simply get a CD for preservation and duplication purposes. Think about this in terms of things like family recipes – we can help you to create a small cookbook of family recipes for family members as a special gift!

Personalized Pillows

Mini-Pillows (shown above) are about 3x5 inches and work nicely to hang on the Christmas tree or a door knob or knob of a cabinet. The featured photo is printed on washable fabric so it can be carefully cleaned if there is an accidental spill. Coordinating fabric and ribbon will be added – and, if you wish, a jingle bell! Prices begin at $12.95.

Larger sizes are available. Embroidery can be added to personalize the pillow or we can add a musical insert. Instead of featuring a pet, we can feature a new baby or a new home.

Quilt Labels (or other types of fabric inserts)

Pricing will vary according to use of photos or embroidery and size.

Handcrafted Pet Related Products (e.g. bandanas and collars)

Prices beginning at $10. Special holidays can be featured and bandanas can include names or monograms.

Obviously, specific requests need to be discussed prior to you placing your order. At the present time, sales are limited to the United States. S.C. sales tax will be due from S.C. residents. Shipping or delivery charges will be added unless items can be delivered in person. All orders require a written contract and payment in advance. We accept money orders or checks but are looking into other means of payment. Once you contact us, you will be given printed information on the best way to select and prepare your photos or other documents.

Your Satisfaction is Extremely Important: If you are not satisfied with your completed project, please contact us within 10 days and we will make every effort to correct the problem. Clear written instructions will help to avoid errors.
