Ark Angels will not pet sit for animals who are aggressive, dangerous, have not had necessary rabies vaccinations, or where the safety of the sitter, other individuals, or other pets will be questionable.

Scheduled Visits:
Ark Angels will schedule routine care to begin no earlier than 7 a.m. and to end no later than 8:30 p.m.

Telephone:
The business telephone line will be available during the hours of 8 a.m. through 9 p.m. by either direct contact or an answering machine. Telephone calls to Ark Angels should be made during these same hours. When Ark Angels cannot be there to answer the phone, please leave a message and suggested call back times and numbers and Ark Angels will return the call.

Cleanliness Standards:
If your pet should have any indoor accidents (diarrhea, urination, vomiting, etc.), Ark Angels will provide prompt clean up. Litter, etc. will be disposed of outdoors and in containers or areas designated. Ark Angels is especially careful to try to prevent any transmission of disease and will sanitize hands and shoes as needed prior to going from home to home. If dogs are to be walked on property that is not your own, Ark Angels will pick up after the dogs so as not to offend neighbors.

Reservations and Home Visit:
As a general rule, reservations will not be taken more than 60 days in advance of your departure date. When you use our services for the first time (or any time after adding a new pet), we must schedule a pre-sitting home visit prior to your departure. This is for our protection and yours and should be scheduled approximately 7 - 14 days prior to the service requested.

Other Responsibilities:
You are responsible for providing all food for pets and any other items (e.g. cat litter, medication) that will be required by the pet during the period of the service agreement. Ark Angels is not liable for any harm done by one of your pets to another of your pets or damage caused by one of your pets to your property when the pets are in your home unattended and restricted to the areas you designate.

Health Provisions:
Medications may be administered to cooperative pets if this is mutually agreed upon and detailed written instructions for the type, amount, and manner of administering the medication is provided. If this may require consultation with your veterinarian, please call sufficiently in advance.

Restraint of Pets:
Pets that are unrestrained but remain on your property may be included in a service agreement at the discretion of Ark Angels. However, because many areas prohibit free roaming domestic animals, Ark Angels will not contract for the care of animals who typically wander from your premises.
