This is the week for it - cleaning house, shopping for the food, and then that wonderful Thanksgiving dinner.  I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving! Cara Gulati (doodlepress.com) was here last week for a lecture and a two-day workshop for our quilt guild.  She did a wonderful job and we learned some new techniques.  The workshop was called 3-D Explosion and I was a little uncertain about all the stripes, but it all worked out in the end.  The amazing part was the size of her quilts.  She was very good at packing things to get those really large quilts in her luggage.  Anyway, thank you, Cara.  We enjoyed your visit and getting to spend time with you.
