Owner, Jeanne Hertzog, is a longtime professional in the community, and a lifetime pet owner. She is a graduate of the University of Rochester and the University of South Carolina School of Law. Jeanne has been a member of numerous animal related organizations in the Midlands and is a member of Pet Sitters International.

After retiring from full-time employment in 2001 after over 25 years in law enforcement, Jeanne founded Ark Angels to serve local area residents, especially with pet, plant, and home care needs when families are on vacation or need assistance due to illness or long working hours.
