I cannot believe the month of August is over with. It was over with before I knew it this year because I spent two weeks traveling and not knowing what day it was! LOL Anyway, August being over with is usually a good milestone for me - it means there is cooler weather ahead and I am always more than ready for it!
The tale about Poland will be missing today other than to say that I stopped to pick up some of the pictures I had printed (maybe I should say "some more" of the pictures I had printed.) I will post more about my trip over the next few days. I had a nice relaxing lunch at Olive Garden today with a friend. The food was excellent. Did you know they now have small desserts? Yes, we had to try one out!
After that I went fabric shopping and needed fabric to make two quilts. It takes me forever to pick out fabric, but I came home happy with my selections. One of these will be for the class I am taking at the Quilters of South Carolina Fall Retreat and the other is for a quilt I am making on my own. It begins from a pattern, but I am making many, many adjustments to it. I was glad the fabric store had a sale because I had quite a stack of fabric when I checked out.
I hope your September is fun, productive, and most of all cool.
