This is the beautiful and peaceful Old Graveyard in Zakopane next to St. Clement's Church.  This cemetery is usuallly listed as "one of the things to see" in Zakopane.  It is the burial place for artists, musicians, mountaineers, writers, sculptors, and others.  Some even have a marker in the cemetery although they are not buried here.  You will find one-of-a-kind tombstones carved so that each is a unique piece of art.  Not only is this definitely worth seeing, but you will want to stay for awhile and enjoy the relaxation that you feel here next to the church!
