This seems like an odd thing to include as an item under Birthday Grins & Giggles, but it is the completion of a long term event this year.  Early in January, I had surgery for a dental implant.  (Yes, the first one for me!)  Anyway, it takes about 6 months for the bone to heal sufficiently around the implant.  I was finally able to get the second part done, so now I have all of that in place and it really went rather well.  I have a terrible history of not doing well with most dental procedures, so this one definitely deserves a grin!
