Anyone reading this who is a packrat will understand, it finally got to the point where even I could no longer tolerate so much stuff being in the house. I have been sifting through the contents of the attic and the garage and several bedrooms and am making some progress. This creates such as mess while you do it, but I have gotten rid of lots of things and hope I can keep at this for several more days! (It really is too bad I did not feel up to doing this when the temperatures were cooler.) Anyway, my grin for today is that I have been organizing and sorting through my unfinished quilting projects and my fabric. No wonder I wasn't sewing lately --- things were scattered around four different rooms and not a bit organized. Everything is much better now and I went through all the scraps I had been saving and got the total amount saved down to the size of one fairly small plastic storage container. I can't believe I had kept such tiny pieces of fabric - out they went! About 80 percent of my scraps are now in the trash. I think in the back of my mind I was expecting to take up applique at some point and then I would need tiny pieces of this or that color or this or that texture. I have decided it is not going to happen and it if does, I will buy more fabric. So, now I need to get back to my (very late in the Spring) Spring cleaning.
